Detecting Horseradish PeroxidaseLabeled Cells Using Aminoethylcarbazole
(Protocol summary only for purposes of this preview site)Aminoethylcarbazole (AEC) yields a red product. It is less sensitive than DAB but can be used if the DAB reaction gives too high a background or if the alternative product colors are required. The products are soluble in alcohol, but not in water.
